About Dr. Suleiman Ghunaim
After finishing his basic medical education, Dr Ghunaim moved to Royal Victoria Hospital - McGill University, Montreal-Canada, as a researcher in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. During that time, he finished the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons in Canada licensure exams and earned his credentials to practice medicine in Canada.
Dr Ghunaim then moved to the American University of Beirut to pursue his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
He received the honorary certificate of excellence in work ethics and teaching when he was the Chief Resident of OBGYN.
Following completion of his training he was accepted in the only spot available in the Middle East at the American University of Beirut to continue his sub-speciality training in Reproductive Medicine and Infertility.
This paved the way for him to join Kings College prestigious Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospital in London-UK Assisted Conception Unit to pursue further advanced training. At that time and at the age of 29, Dr Ghunaim became the youngest Jordanian physician to become a Member of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists to finally become a licensed physician in the United Kingdom from the British General Medical Council.
He earned a full scholarship to obtain the title Scholar in Health and Research/ Harvard University accredited diploma at the American University of Beirut.
Upon completion of his work, Dr Ghunaim moved back to Amman-Jordan and Ranked first among hundreds of applicants in the Jordanian Board of Obstetrics and Gynaecology clinical/oral exam.
He now pursues private practice as an Obstetrician and Gynaecologist-Reproductive Medicine and Infertility Consultant in Jordan.
A member of the European, American, British, and Jordanian Fertility Societies, Dr Ghunaim is a local and international speaker, publisher of over 20 scientific papers in world wide peer reviewed journals, notably in the highly impact factor Fertility Sterility and Human Reproduction Journals. An author of 2 book chapters with Cambridge University press. He Recently acquired licensure in the Field of OBGYN - Reproduction and Infertility from the Medical Council of Canada. Making him triple board certified in his field.
His research and work mainly focuses on Reproduction and Assisted conception, fertility preservation/egg freezing, recurrent implantation failures in IVF, PCOS, introduction of new protocols in controlled ovarian stimulation, and egg quality improvement, Genetics, and General Obstetrics and Gynecology.
